About Kaitlin Blackwell MS LPC-S

I have a unique personal and professional background. I met my husband working while working at favorite Texan friend chicken restaurant. We have two children and 3 fur babies! Our youngest fur baby Edie is working on becoming an emotional support dog! She is a beautiful German Shepard, currently working on training at the office and at home! She completed obedience training in August of 2024.

My professional background has been in education. I have worked as a school counselor and a special education teacher. I have learned many tools and strategies for helping diverse learners and families. I love solving problems!

I have written a series of 30 children’s books, with Randy Guttenberger author of Managing Your Crazy Self to help teach children about emotions and resiliency. The first 4 books are in the final stages of editing!
